Your initial consultation with one of our neurology providers will include a discussion of your condition and available imaging and lab work, as well as your personal medical history. Our compassionate clinicians will advise and answer questions about your options and work with you on a treatment plan with a goal of reducing or stabilizing your symptoms.
Your treatment will be developed specific to your medical conditions & symptoms, & may include non-pharmacological options, such as vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), which uses electrical impulses to minimize epileptic seizures. Your neurology provider will help educate you on your suspected diagnosis, making adjustments to your treatment plan as needed.
Our neurology team will assess your symptoms utilizing diagnostic procedures, including imaging, such as head CT or brain MRI, blood work, lumbar puncture for cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) investigation, and EEG, reviewing these data to formulate a treatment plan.
Our neurology providers will work to develop a medication plan specific to your symptoms and other medical conditions. Medicinal treatments may include, depending on your condition, nerve blocks or onabotulinumtoxinA injections for migraine management; or botulinum injection therapy to help manage excessive blinking (blepharospasm), hemifacial spasm, spasticity secondary to stroke or traumatic brain injury (TBI), dystonia and other symptoms of neurological conditions.
