Area of Greatest Need
Your contribution helps support the most urgent needs of Saratoga Hospital, from providing vital funding for medical equipment to assistance to patients and their families adjusting to illness and hospitalization. These gifts provide Saratoga Hospital with the most flexibility in addressing particular needs and are put to immediate use.
Cancer Patient Fund
Cancer takes an enormous toll on patients, physically, emotionally—and financially. The Cancer Patient Fund has long provided support for patients who cannot afford items not covered by insurance. Assistance is distributed through the hospital’s four oncology practices: the Mollie Wilmot Radiation Oncology Center, the Center for Breast Care, Oncology/Hematology, and the Outpatient Infusion Center.
COVID-19 Response Fund
The Saratoga Hospital COVID-19 Response Fund provides the resources to source essential supplies and to provide the best emergent care for our critical patients. We are also seeing increasingly urgent healthcare needs for those in our community negatively impacted by COVID-19 including loss of income and health insurance.
Nursing Scholarship Program
Through the Saratoga Hospital Nursing Scholarship Program, we invest in some of our best, most promising nurses and help them realize their dreams of higher education. This investment produces a nursing workforce whose knowledge, skills, and compassion have a direct, positive impact on patient care.
Saratoga Community Health Center
Saratoga Community Health Center is the only facility of its kind in the greater Saratoga region providing high quality, primary, dental, behavioral and addiction medicine health services to members of our community, regardless of their insurance status and ability to pay. For many of our patients, we are their first experience with routine healthcare which makes a dramatic difference in quality of health and life.
The Amy V. Raimo Memorial Fund
Established to honor Amy Raimo, who served as Saratoga Hospital's Vice President of Community Engagement and Executive Director of Saratoga Hospital Foundation from November 2013 through June 2018. Amy was an unapologetic cheerleader for Saratoga Hospital, an adamant supporter of every program and service the Hospital provides, large or small. The fund is to be used at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer to support pressing needs and emerging priorities of Saratoga Hospital.
